Zions Bancorporation is looking for a Cloud Asset Management (Business Analyst) to join its IT Asset Management team. The analyst will work closely with Architecture and DevOps teams, IT Security, IT Vendor Management, and Procurement to help maintain the day-to-day records responsible for containing information pertaining to the organization's cloud technologies. Will provide guidance on cloud adoption, impacts to licensing models, and optimization of cloud spend. Additionally, the analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing effective processes to mature cloud asset management within the organization.
The Cloud Asset Management (Business Analyst) will:
Assess the completeness of existing cloud technologies inventory through queries, data analysis, owner surveys and/or engagement
Support remediation plans to satisfy regulatory, audit, or business requirements directly related to cloud technologies
Identify and implement automation processes where available to ensure adherence to compliance for all cloud technologies
Develop strategy and scope for Cloud asset management adoption and implementation
Assist in the development of roadmaps, including high-level needs analysis, solution evaluation and preparation of business cases related to proposed solutions
Develop and maintain standards, procedures and processes documentation for cloud asset management governance and compliance
Apply various analytical tools and cloud asset experience to increase quality, productivity, and overall effectiveness of cloud technologies
Assist in developing user documentation and training to ensure asset owners are comply with cloud asset standards
Perform project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member
Assist in cloud audit activities to monitor optimization and cloud spend
Will be the subject matter expert for cloud services within ITAM focusing on Cloud compliance, optimization, governance, and risk
Generate technical reports with data visualization tools
Analyze large data sets and provide insight on identified trends, risks, and gaps
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of business systems (ServiceNow, Cloud Insights, Azure Dev Ops), systems analysis processes, procedures, project techniques and practices. Knowledge of department specific system applications or products
Working knowledge of public cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure)
Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail
Proficient using Excel and other data analysis tools
Working knowledge of data visualization tools including Power BI
Ability to elicit, gather and analyze user/business requirements
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to function in a consultative role and manage a team or project
Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees
Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to detail
Preferred- Bachelor's in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field and 4+ years' experience in cloud technologies, business analysis, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, systems or other directly related experience
