Manufacturing company seeking capable Product Developer for role in the R&D dept. on the design and manufacture of automotive related parts.
Project Developer will be responsible for planning, part and assembly design work, master tooling, project schedule, updating the organization and action planning as needed. Internal focus on project schedule maintenance and control.
Ideal candidate will have a maintenance of Engineering standards, Engineering change control, project record retention, progress reporting and action planning to restore and manage engineering package delivery schedules, experience with M3 ERP system a plus.
Seeking management motivated candidate to do engineering project work and train directly on current management processes for move into departmental management role with increasing responsibilities in the future.
Seeking familiarity and capability with:
- Polymer casting and master tooling
- Model making
- 3D parametric modeling software(s)
- ANSI Y 14.5 standard drawing generation and revision.
- 3D Printing equipment
- Manufacturing standards and specification management
- Vehicle Mechanics
- Machine shop experience/understanding
- ISO / IATF Quality standards and processes
- Engineering department management
- Punctuality, motivation, commitment
- Engineering degree a plus
This is a hands-on position with key daily responsibilities to the organization.
