POSITION OVERIVEW
Incumbent serves as Accounts Receivable Analyst in Financial Operations ---a division within Business & Financial Services (BFS). The Accounts Receivable team is responsible for establishing institutional billing, collections, and revenue recognition best practices. It supports departments throughout the University in the areas of customer maintenance, billing, payment applications, collections and training. It provides processes and systems to ensure money due to the university are billed, collected and reconciled in a timely manner with appropriate internal controls over cash receipts.
This position is responsible for performing duties in support of accounts receivable operations including, but not limited to, collections, portal administration, customer service tickets through Services & Support, and clean-up activities while maintaining accuracy of information recorded in the financial system. Responsible for documenting standard operating procedures, training coordination and other tasks as needed. This position will perform special projects as assigned and ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the day-to-day activities of the unit.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, and/or Finance or an allied field and two (2) years of experience in budget analysis or financial administration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of finance policies, practices, and systems. Two (2) years' experience with account receivable/collections, reconciliation, invoicing, billing adjustments and customer service.
