Impact & Responsibilities: Collaborates with University Systems Administrators to ensure Advancement division servers, storage, virtual environments, operating systems (Windows and Linux), and backup systems are maintained and managed according to University IT policies; installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and patches Advancement division servers and applications in support of network monitoring and logging; develops and manages IT projects as needed; works closely with University IT to maintain Advancement network and system requirements as required by the University; and collaborates with all parties in conversion of legacy systems to new data management systems.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree; at least three years of experience in Windows and/or Linux administration and networking; and strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Student experience will be considered.
Preferences: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, management information systems, or network administration; demonstrated management skills; experience problem solving, scripting, network management, enterprise servers, storage, backup and virtualization; experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Hyper-V and/or VMWare and Microsoft Office Suite; and experience with Atlassian Suite of products (Jira Service Desk and Confluence).
