Incumbent markets and sells UC Irvine Health pathology services outside of UC Irvine Health by performing business development, internal sales administration, client retention and other promotional activities. Develops new accounts while maintaining and increasing sales volume of current accounts through a relationship-based approach. Maintains strong knowledge of products and services in the laboratory and health care industry.

Annual Rate Minimum $95,300.00 Midpoint $140,400.00 Maximum $185,500.00
Required Qualifications:
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Biological sciences or related field
Minimum of five years sales experience which must include healthcare and/or /laboratory sales and marketing experience
Demonstrated ability to develop appropriate sales strategy in keeping with the most effective coverage of each account in the territory
Ability to develop sales presentations and product demonstrations
Strong time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and also work in a collaborative team environment
Demonstrated outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills
Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Demonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations, where only limited-standardization exists
Demonstrated ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Demonstrated ability to work with CRM software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Valid driver's license with no violations on record (for liability purposes). Must be willing to travel the majority of the time
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
