POSITION OVERVIEW
Serves as the Virtual Card Program Analyst withing Integrated Procure-Pay Solutions (IPPS) housed within Business and Financial Services (BFS). Independently manages the daily operations of UC San Diego's Virtual Card program and develops best practices to streamline processes to meet campus needs and program strategic goals. Responsible for the financial accuracy of the Virtual Card account. Independently responsible for processing disputes submitted by campus departments, while assessing transaction validity. Serves as an escalation point for operational issues and client complaints related to various payment methods.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.
Thorough knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures. Proven experience and skill to audit financial data, format special financial reports and communicate information using complex data, rules, regulations and resource materials. Ability to analyze complex fiscal issues and information, recognize potential impact, identify alternative solutions, and make recommendations to staff, management and business units.
Thorough knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems. Demonstrated experience with account reconciliations and financial reporting. Working knowledge of Oracle Financial Cloud.
Intermediate Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications to include: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
