As a Software Engineer at Bloomberg you will own the technical product, make recommendations to the business, and work with a diverse team of strong technologists to power Bloomberg's operational excellence and continued growth. While doing so, you will acquire new skills in our open and collaborative culture. You are encouraged to learn more technologies and suggest improvements to business processes.
You will be successful through your strong technical skills, proactive problem solving, ability to learn quickly, and excellent communication with our stakeholders.
You'll need to have:
Great software development skills and good experience in Object Oriented Programming
Strong Hands-on experience in ABAP development with an understanding of SAP's technical architecture (e.g. transaction processing, database design)
Strong troubleshooting skills
Experience or strong aptitude to learn other programming languages such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, or C++
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
We'd love to see:
An understanding of integration technologies such as REST/GraphQL or message-based communication.

Salary Range: 160,000 - 240,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
