We are seeking a mid-senior level Software Engineer to join Zions Bancorporation. The Software Engineer plays a key role in establishing a foundation for self-service governance capabilities (e.g., Data Portal, Adaptive Governance). The ideal candidate is a Full Stack engineer with experience in front and backend development and microservices architecture deployed on Kubernetes.
The Software Engineer will:
Design and implement solutions that enable Data as a Service.
Collaborate with Product Management and business partners to iteratively build solutions that meet customers' needs.
Adhere to internal development best practices/lifecycle (e.g., Testing, Code Reviews, CI/CD, Documentation).
Design, build, and integrate internal and external APIs (Application Programming Interfaces).
Document and present feature designs/workflows.
Technical Experience and Qualifications:
6+ years of software engineering experience
Bachelors in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field
Experience developing in Java frameworks like Spring or Sprint Boot
Experience developing in frameworks and libraries using Angular and/or ReactJS
Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL
Experience designing and developing RESTful services
Nice to Have:
Experience using Python programming language
Experience building applications using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Cloud technology (e.g., Google, Azure)
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
Experience with microservices
A combination of education and experience may meet qualifications
Location:
This position has a hybrid work-from-home schedule with at least three days per week in the Zions Technology Center office in Midvale, UT.
The Zions Technology Center is a 400,000-square-foot technology campus in Midvale, Utah.
