Under general supervision and technical guidance, the person in this position is responsible for design, implementation, and engineering support for technology solutions relating to the Windows Operating System.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Configure, manage, and maintain on-premises Microsoft Configuration Manager infrastructure including MCM Application Software and needed SQL databases.
Manage automatic deployment rules for providing and managing monthly updates for the Windows operating, Microsoft 365 apps, Adobe software.
Configure and Manage Microsoft Intune for BYOD device security and hybrid Azure Active directory joined endpoints.
Validate, test and implement new products and services.
Respond to and resolve incidents escalated from operational teams and performance tuning requests utilizing critical thinking skills.
Create and maintain documentation related to services, solutions and interfaces.
Provide technical and advisory leadership as required to complete objectives. Training and mentoring for other personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree plus three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working in higher education.
Experience in enterprise-scale environments.
(Experience with systems analysis techniques and procedures and developing functional specifications).
Technology specifics as above [key technologies such as VMWare for virtualization, Exchange/SharePoint for Collaboration, SQL DB, Tiered enterprise storage systems].
High aptitude for learning new technologies.
Ability to effectively communicate technical issues.

Associate degree and four years of related experience or Bachelor degree and two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience to equal six years.
Base pay is commensurate with experience.The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
