The Director will work closely with the School's Dean, faculty, and volunteer leadership group.
In consultation with the Dean and the Senior Director of Development for Medicine and Health (SDOD), the Director will design, manage, and execute the fundraising strategy and leadership volunteer engagement activity for the School of Health and its programs and initiatives. The Director will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of a comprehensive development program to engage new and unaligned constituents and institutional funders, as well as previously unidentified alumni, families, and friends, towards philanthropic support, critical to the School's success.
As the lead development officer supporting the School of Health, the Director will work collaboratively across the matrixed Advancement organization and greater institution to coordinate efforts in ensuring annual goals, as well as the ambitions of a multi-billion-dollar comprehensive campaign, are met. This portfolio work will include identifying, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual, major and planned gifts, as well as corporate/foundation partnerships. There will be designed annual fundraising goals and metrics, including visits, asks, and dollars raised.
The Director will be integral in introducing the Dean to constituents, providing strategy and advice on engaging current or prospective donors towards new philanthropic opportunities in support of the SOH Dean's top priorities.
