Primary responsibilities include:
Oversight and execution of small to medium sized commercial, municipal, mixed-used residential, and/or educational projects with estimated construction budgets of $250,000 to $1.5 million.
Facilitating the planning and management of project workflow, coordinating with administrative and technical staff for successful project execution to enhance firm performance.
Managing consultants to ensure accurate and efficient performance, coordination, and quality control.
Monitoring and reporting on projects to the firm leadership.
Attending client meetings, provide feedback to the team, and manage actionable items.
Ensuring frequent, regular design team communications that share information and cultivate a positive and effective teamwork environment.
Providing accountable leadership that advances our client relationships.
Establishing timing of key decisions and project milestones that meet deliverable commitments and deadlines.
Implementing best practices using established and emerging processes, reference standards, tools, templates, and technology to achieve competitive advantages and superior service productivity and deliver
Capturing and recording key decisions, documents, and project records.
Training and mentoring staff under your supervision.
Qualified candidates must present:
Minimum of eight (8) years architectural experience and at least three (3) years recent experience with small to medium-sized commercial, municipal, mixed-use residential, and/or educational projects.
Strong skills in producing all phases of architectural and construction drawings from start to finish.
Knowledge of current building codes and standard construction techniques.
Full proficiency working in AutoCAD is required, with experience in Revit, Sketchup, and/or 3D Studio Max being beneficial.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships using clear and thoughtful interpersonal, verbal, graphic, and written communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities, including the ability to think critically and anticipate end-user interpretation of delivered, finished products.
Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks amongst multiple projects.
License preferred but not required.
Professional degree from accredited program is required.
