Position Summary:
Incumbent will be responsible for delivering leading-edge clinical technology to UCI Health as a program manager. This role will lead major complex programs from initiation through implementation, including coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants. An active member of the IS PMO, the program manager will also assist leadership with optimizing existing project processes, procedures and guidelines. There also may be opportunity to lead and mentor junior to medium level project managers.

Required Qualifications:
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Minimum 3 years of project management experience in an Information Systems environment
Minimum 7 years of experience in Information Systems including 5 or more years large project/program management experience in a Healthcare environment
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Exceptional skills in report writing and making technical presentations
Proven skills in managing large and complex projects
Ability to manage multiple fast-paced technical projects
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem solving capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
PMP Certification
Knowledge of UCI policies and procedures
Seven - ten years of experience project management
