Project manager of all types of capital building and infrastructure projects, deferred maintenance projects, utility and energy projects, and all types of building structures. Investigate, develop and administer engineering and architectural alternatives, estimates, plans, construction documents and schedules for building and site products. Ensure and implement sound engineering/architectural practices in repairs, replacements and new installations. Provide engineering, project management and oversight in project development, budgetary controls, accounting practices and commissioning of all projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Mechanical, Civil) Architectural Engineering or Architecture or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
A minimum of six (6) years of project management experience plus two (2) years of supervisory/management experience.
Working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, high temperature hot water, plumbing, fire protection systems, storm water, construction, site utilities, and building operations.
Knowledge of sustainability and LEED projects.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must possess a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University's insurance carrier.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering or Architecture.
Knowledge of Building Codes, ASHARE, ADA, NFPA, LEED Certification.
