CFC has a need for a Program Analyst on our Financial Tools & Analysis team. The Program Analyst is responsible for assisting with the analysis, data visualization and process support for financial statements, benchmarking, forecasting and budget tools used by CFC members to help in their financial decision making process.
As a Program Analyst, you will: • Provide support and guidance to external membership and internal stakeholders on the preparation of the financial and operating reports. • Assist with the execution of financial benchmarking reports used by internal and external consumers. • Perform high quantity of detailed quality assurance reviews of RUS Forms 7 and 12 received from external member cooperatives. • Receive, process, and track financial model requests from external and internal costumers. • Produce recurrent, ad hoc, and custom studies for members. • Develop process documentation. • Participate in test-plan development, integration and deployment. • Create compelling financial data visualizations and dashboards. • Work with programmers, engineers, and management to identify process improvement opportunities.
To be successful, you will need: • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, information systems or related field required • 2 + years’ experience with program support & analysis • Previous finance and/or utility industry experience is preferred. • Ability to interpret and detect inconsistencies in financial documents. • Strong analytical and quality assurance abilities. • Strong problem solving and organizational skills. • Strong customer service and attention to detail. • Ability to apply knowledge to develop user-friendly solutions. • Marketing and communications experience a plus. • Experience with SharePoint administration preferred • Experience with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills. • Basic Knowledge of programming languages like SQL preferred. • Basic Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI • Basic Knowledge of accounting practices.
