Baylor University is seeking an System Analyst to support the mission of the University at the ITS Information Systems and Services department.
A Bachelor's degree, a minimum of one year of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Masters degree and three years of relevant work experience are preferred.

What You Will Do
Work closely with business units to identify and present opportunities for improvement by analyzing and understanding existing business processes and documenting current state, then identifying gaps to an improved future state as it relates to integrations and data projects.
Meet with campus clients to assist with testing as it applies to system updates/patches, quarterly releases or new technology.
Proactively examine the change impact of requests on systems and general business operations to help in determining the priority of needs and scope of work.
Provide consulting services to application teams, vendors, and functional offices as it relates to designing and evaluating new data integrations, configurations and procedures and policies for managing data or documentation between campus systems.
Effective communication and facilitation skills to converse successfully with technical and functional personnel.
Demonstrate problem solving, analytic and troubleshooting skills associated with application systems.
Study manuals, texts, and tutorials as necessary to obtain the required expertise on scripting, software tools and University information systems.
Experience with the following technologies preferred: o ERP system experience (Student Management system experience preferred) o Experience with Imaging systems preferably Hyland Onbase. Experience with configuring and understanding the need to capture and search for images and documents. o Experience with Interfolio suite of products. Interfolio is used as a faculty management information system. o Experience working with cloud application systems (configurations, data management, reporting and issue resolution) o PL/SQL Developer and/or other Oracle tools to pull data. o Integration experience and the understanding of how to bring data together between systems. o Jira (used for project, task, issue tracking) o Microsoft Tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
