This position will support the mission and vision of Baylor University by assisting the administration of financial aid processing. The Financial Aid Analyst will maintain a customer service focus and understand how timely, accurate processing impacts student experience, cross-functional teamwork, and compliance.
Baylor is seeking to fill two seats from this search, one supporting Student Financial Aid as a whole and another supporting our Federal Work Study program specifically.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

Additional preferred skills
Financial Aid and Higher Education experience.
Intermediate Excel skills and experience with reporting and data analysis.
Banner, Federal Student Aid, COD, NSLDS, and other related platform skills.
Strong working knowledge of industry policies and regulations.
What You Will Do
Development to serving as a novice subject matter expert for awarding of federal, state, university, and private financial aid programs. Growth to support organizational understanding of work performed and how it impacts cross-functional teams, compliance, and student experience. Supports aid administration to all student populations including undergraduate, graduate, seminary, law, and student-athletes.
Manually award, package, and re-package financial aid in accordance with policy, procedure, and compliance. Analyze, audit, and proactively resolve errors. Report areas of responsibility details to supervisor.
Learn and maintain a thorough knowledge of federal, state, NCAA, and university regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. Maintain written policy and procedures.
Serve as a liaison to external agencies and campus partners with a commitment to active listening and effective communication. Research and respond to requests from team members to support customer service and student experience. Support tasks, projects, and attend trainings through the Division of Enrollment Management as directed.
Attend training sessions, to include travel, as necessary.
Assist with special projects and any other task assigned by the supervisor.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
