Your Key Responsibilities:
Manage multiple business driven Technology projects to deliver the technology/platforms needed for business growth.
Run project Steerco meetings with senior business and technology colleagues.
Conduct project team meetings and take responsibility for project delivery using agile or hybrid methodologies.
Facilitate cross competency collaboration. Drive project level planning efforts with the CTB Program Manager, identify and manage critical project level dependencies.
Manage and mentor staff assigned to the team in offshore locations.
Ensure that the projects are correctly specified, delivered on time while meeting business requirements and within the approved budget.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders (internal & external) including business, technical, and operational colleagues.
Follow the guidelines set by Change Governance Framework to ensure a structured approach to Project Management.
Ensure operational workflow requirements and other documentation (Project plans, meeting decks) are produced in standard templates in a timely manner.
Drive the project forwards and track progress against milestones, deadlines and budget
Anticipate, manage and resolve issues & risks and act as the point of contact for the project.
Use best practice risk management, assess risks in an informed and considered manner, and plan to mitigate the risks.
Understand, initiate and or facilitate scope/changes to SOWs in consultation of APM.
Stakeholder reporting and dependency management.
Your Skills & Experience:
Experience in delivering Technology projects using Agile methodologies in the Financial services industry.
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) with a capacity to present, discuss and explain issues coherently and logically both in writing and verbally to senior business & technology colleagues.
Experience in working with vendors to deliver a book of work meeting all stakeholders expectations.
Basic understanding of Asset Management industry.
Able to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation.
Experience of successfully working in a global environment with offshore teams.
Proficient with common Office software including MS Word, Excel, Project and Power Point.
Strong planning and organizational skills including the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
Determination and focus to drive projects through to implementation.
Good influencing and persuasion skills with the ability to enthuse and inspire multidisciplinary teams and build successful relationships at all levels.
Good team player, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
Clear decision-making ability with the facility to judge complex situations and assess when to escalate issues.
Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approach
Licenses Required/Preferred:
Active Project Management qualification eg, Prince2, PMI.

Expectations
It is DWS's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the NYC office in accordance with the firm's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $101,000 to $165,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
