The role you’ll contribute:
The Senior Financial Analyst interacts with hospital administrators, internal finance/accounting teams and department directors to provide relevant, accurate, and timely information. Performs research, collects data, and skillfully organizes and presents the analysis to management in written or oral format. Exercises objective, independent judgement in developing financial recommendations for management. Serves as a liaison to department directors in financial matters. Develops and trains staff in analyzing and organizing information into a coherent report, and to recommend and implement solutions based on this analysis; subject to the approval of management. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

•Provides strategic financial information for the organization through the maintenance of a financial management program. Collaborates with leadership to provide relevant analysis, information and support to identify and present opportunities that improve overall financial performance and the competitive position of the organization
•Establishes data accuracy and validity derived from a variety of systems. Performs data analysis using statistical techniques. Assists in the preparation and delivery of decision support reports to both internal and external customers
•Identifies opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, improve customer service, increase capacity and improve throughput. Assists in reviewing/documenting operational procedures
•Reconcile and validate financial and statistical data
•Effectively collects, analyzes, and creates solutions to report data
•Compiles and creates month end financial statements as needed i.e. (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, P & L, etc.)
•Interpret and analyze data on price, yield, stability and forecasting
•Run routine audits to ensure data integrity in all reports
•Focuses on process improvement strategies with special focus on financial outcomes in support of department and process initiatives
•Assists in annual budget and works with directors in completing departmental budgets
•May be responsible for the preparation of Net Revenue template
•Prepare Service-line Reports for distribution and to evaluate the reimbursement of hospital programs to determine the profitability of service lines
•Responsible for Labor and Productivity reporting
•Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
•Two years of related experience
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
•Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
•Three years of experience
