Job Summary
The Stroke RN Data Analyst is an experienced analyst who conducts chart reviews, data abstraction, complex data analysis/interpretation, and data reporting for the Comprehensive Stroke Program. As a TJC Certification Program, there are numerous stroke metrics and core performance measures that require review, interpretation, and analysis in order to maintain compliance and identify opportunities for continuous performance improvement. As a TJC certified program of UC Davis Health, stroke data is reported in various departmental CQI meetings and quality committees. This position will develop reporting tools, comprehensive presentations, and complex data analysis summaries of these core stroke measures.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
BLS
Experience and knowledge of quality improvement models, measurement tools, and techniques of data abstraction analysis and reporting.
Detail oriented with proven ability to develop project plans, manage time, and multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of Stroke QI standards, TJC CSC regulatory requirements and reporting.
Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with multi-disciplinary team members, technical staff, and external regulatory agencies.
Strong communication skills, required to effectively convey complex clinical and technical information, in both verbal and writing.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with TJC Disease-specific certification programming.
GWTG Data Abstraction & Reporting experience.
Stroke or neurovascular experience.
Data analytics experience.
Department Description The Stroke Program RN Data Analyst works with the Stroke Medical Director, Nurse Manager, and Stroke Coordinators to review TJC performance measures, abstract data, develop reporting, and identify OFI for our core stroke measures.

Salary or Pay Range: $3,394.40 - $6,383.20
