Provide support within the Client Account Maintenance team for the FINRA Consolidated Audit Trail CAIS reporting. This includes performing analysis, testing, reporting and execution of the process. Identify process improvements and adjustments to existing reporting models. Provide expertise for small to medium projects, which may involve developing solutions for problems within the business. Resolve problems or issues through methods of trouble shooting and separate analysis. Using sound information and theory, provide management with recommended actions to resolve issues or create value for the business.
Responsible for any emails or reach outs from FINRA related to the CAIS information
Engage with other firms on FINRA related issues through industry meetings
Daily review of the status of prior corrections items to ensure we meet the SLA on the 3rd business day
Answer questions when the correctness" of data is unclear
Manage data corrections within a correction tool
Manage an internal work queue for research corrections to ensure timely replies
Daily reconciliation of items from Source systems to Brokerage platform to CAIS and timely resolution and research to understand why/if totals do not reconcile
Support data mismatch/sync failures, escalations and questions
Manage the twice a year data refresh
Monitor and adjust process as the industry changes 2E requirements
Raise issues to leaders regarding tool effectiveness, industry questions and CAIS defects
Emphasis on data analytics and maintaining a data assurance process for all CAIS reportable data
Associate degree or equivalent
3+ years of experience
Solid analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills and ability to use statistical analysis and modeling.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and partnerships across the organization.
Ability to communicate effectively recommended results from analysis.
Skills necessary to work third party regulatory bodies.
Deals comfortably with ambiguity
Bachelors degree or equivalent
Experience with Denodo Tool or other data analysis programs
