Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, we were created out of the need for reliable, affordable electricity in America's heartland. Our members are 23 electric distribution cooperatives (which makes us a co-op of co-ops), and their members include over 300,000 homes, businesses and farms in Indiana, Illinois and Missouri. As a not-for-profit co-op, our members are our owners, so we aren't influenced by shareholders and old practices. We are guided by the seven cooperative principles that govern all co-ops and values that are important to us, like teamwork and putting family first. Job Description
Serving as the liaison between business users, co-op members and the Technical Services team to analyze information needs, identify, and manage project scope, facilitate requirements gathering sessions (group and individual), proactively communicate project status including issues, timelines, budget, and resources needs.
Support projects through the entire lifecycle (planning, execution, and closure), ensuring projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Create, manage, and report on detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Identify, manage, and report project risks and issues, implementing mitigation plans as needed.
Facilitate communications and collaboration among cross-functional teams.
Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders and Tech Services management.
Create and maintain current state and future state documentation, process flows, and diagrams.
Identify process improvement opportunities to define an ideal “future state”.
Elicit, translate, validate, document, communicate, negotiate, and manage requirements.
Work with stakeholders and SMEs on system specifications, functionality, user interfaces, system documentation, user manuals, training materials, testing activities, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing.
Deliver informative, well-organized oral presentations and written reports and timelines.
Coach colleagues across the organization in project management and business analysis techniques.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, technology, or related field.
5+ years in project management/ business analysis or relevant experience.
Project Management Certification or equivalent.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
Detailed orientated.
Ability to track and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must possess a flexible, patient, collaborative and creative approach.
Must be able and willing to assist outside of core role to help the team deliver results and overcome ambiguous circumstances and roadblocks.
