Overview
The Consultant Relations Support will help clearly position a defined set of investment strategies across alternatives, active, and passive within the institutional consulting market. You will act as a liaison between core institutional product specialists/generalists and retail retirement. You will also be expected to be agile in addressing asset class and strategy specific questions and it will be crucial for you to have the ability to communicate complex material in a clear and concise manner.
Key to success in this role will be the ability to partner with consulting firms to position DWS as a partner with their delegated business. Further, you will work closely with distribution to develop and execute on product marketing initiatives designed to build sales momentum and/or defend a critical investment franchises.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Engage with institutional consultants that have sizable delegated/OCIO platforms with the goal to get the appropriate DWS product on the OCIO platform - either in a white label fund, a stand-alone option, or as part of a Target Date Fund program
Work with appropriate Product Specialist and Consultant Relations to effectively cover these firms and promote products
Work with Retail Retirement to triangulate the record keepers, custodians, OCIO consultants and clients, keep track of all the moving pieces
You will have a consulting background or background with a plan sponsor who has executed on these, experience in building white label funds or target date funds
Your Skills & Experience:
Strong investment acumen and proven strategic thinking
Experience with institutional business development
Experience delivering and creating best-in-class investment presentations
Strong work ethic and drive to succeed
MBA/CFA is desired
