Job Overview
The Facilities Operations Analyst serves as liaison with Facilities Management Directors, supervisor and managers supervisors to manage financial resources and assure purchasing requests are completed. They coordinate management activities of the Facilities Management Department, including strategic planning and business practices, forecasting and budgeting, monthly charge backs including reconciliation of work orders and related activities to ensure that campus facilities are properly maintained at a reasonable cost. Duties include but are not limited to:
Provides oversight and administration of all financial operations of Facilities Management's cost centers
Develops and improves business processes and procedures within Facilities Management and recommends process improvements to maintain continuous quality improvements
Administers communication, coordination and liaison with high level officials both within and outside the University, as well as field personnel, particularly in emergency situations.
Works within the University CMMS system to ensure the financial information in the system is accurate and consistent with what is needed for chargeback.
Work Interactions
Reporting to the PFM Finance Officer, the Facilities Operations Analyst receives broad general guidance concerning resource support activities and commitment of University resources in emergency situations and high profile events.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree - preference for familiarity with facilities management or related field
5-7 years of progressively responsible facilities management experience that involved responsibility for program budgeting, personnel and procurement, and included at least 3 years of analytic experience.
A high comfort level with personal computer technology with capability to master the organization's Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Well versed in the intricacies of both written and verbal communication in order to convey information and direction equally well to superior and subordinate alike
Analytic ability and capability for using technology to generate reports and studies
Ability to prioritize, successfully manage multiple tasks, and adapt to change in a dynamic work environment
Possession of a valid driver license
Essential Designation The Facilities Operations Analyst is designated as an essential position, requiring the incumbent to report to work during inclement weather at the regularly scheduled time, regardless of whether the University is closed, opening late, or closing early.
Work Mode: Hybrid. Please note that work mode designations are regularly reviewed in order to meet the evolving needs of the University. Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $66,783.00 - $126,720.23
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
