The UCI Paul Merage School of Business is expanding its Leadership Development Institute (LDI) team which supports both open enrollment and custom educational programs. LDI was designed to provide individuals and organizations relevant and research-based solutions in order to build sustainable leadership curriculums providing leaders the ability to sustainably cultivate a cycle of resilience, engagement and reinvention.
Your Role on the Team
The Portfolio Director is responsible for the product design of new and existing open enrollment and custom executive education programs and is a key member of The Paul Merage School of Business, Leadership Development Institute team. This individual serves as a primary customer interface with high-level corporate executive participants, faculty and instructors. The incumbent will have strong client relationship management skills to act as a primary contact before, during and after the program offering to help develop the program specifics leading to greater client satisfaction and subsequent additional revenues from the same client. The Portfolio Director will engage closely with the faculty throughout the design process. This role will manage multiple programs being developed consecutively using strong project management skills. The Portfolio Director works autonomously, employing operational and procedural analysis to take actions and make decisions that support and promote the success of LDI's programs. The incumbent will Independently and effectively handle problems related to programs, faculty, and participants and systematize the solution and problem-solving process for future occurrences. S/he is responsible for creating an optimal learning environment for participants and an optimal teaching environment for faculty through exemplary customer service. The position may have evening and weekend work and occasional travel during program deliveries. Due to the nature and responsibilities of the position, this is an on-site, in-person role. However, there will be some opportunity provided for remote work.

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $77,000- $92,550 (Annual).
Required:
Skill in using business software systems in the completion of work assignments (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Asana).
Advanced analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills. Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills (other languages are an asset).
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures; advanced knowledge of functional area and understands how work impacts other areas of public educational programs.
Advanced knowledge of accredited and / or certificate program instruction and delivery methodologies, the organization, market and business strategies.
Strong customer service orientation.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong project management skills; excellent planning and organizing skills by anticipating and taking initiatives within a time frame but with a high developed sense of achievement.
Demonstrated experience in the area of program budget management.
Ability to comfortable and flexible in a challenging and ever-changing environment; ability to work under pressure and set priorities.
Ability to be proactive and to demonstrate creative, innovative and service-oriented approaches to problem solving.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Continuing education in related field required.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role working with faculty and corporations within a training and development environment.
Special Conditions:
Hybrid position with some onsite work expected each week.
