Who we are looking for Global Delivery Custody is forming a central support team for the Payments, Cash, and Custody ("PCC") strategic development program. The team you will be joining is a part of PCC, a multi-year effort to modernize and simplify State Streets core custody technology platforms. The program is a collaborative approach across Global Delivery, Product, and Technology with integrated planning and decision making. Key outcomes include ensuring STT meets regulatory and market processing requirements, demands of current clients, and creating a world class, competitive Custody product offering.
You have a strong understanding of the global payments infrastructure as well as the various modernization initiatives across markets and Financial Market Utilities. You have extensive experience conducting Business User Acceptance Testing and demonstrated ability to act as a liaison between operational, project and technology teams, vendors and external industry groups working on large scale cross-platform high risk projects. What you will be responsible for As a Business Analyst you will:
Actively attain SME level knowledge and understanding of business processes and flows via in-depth analysis of workflows and Standard Operating Procedures
Actively participate in test strategy development and planning
Perform business user acceptance testing
Perform all required industry testing applicable to State Street's payments infrastructure e.g. FedWire, CHIPS, Swift Standards, CHAPS, LYNX, RITS, CHATS etc.
Triage, track and report post implementation issues and defects
Be the voice of the business, articulate and champion business requirements
Collaborate across teams to coordinate testing activities across platforms
Clearly and concisely communicate defects and expected results to IT and project partners
Build meaningful and effective relationships with business, project and IT teams across the organization
Think outside the box to identify and recommend opportunities to improve operational workflows through technology
Assist business teams with implementation planning and support including creation and updates of relevant standard operating procedures and guides as well as hands on training
What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role
Exceptional operational and IT knowledge and understanding of the global payments infrastructure including SWIFT (MT, ISO20022), LYNX/LVTS, CHAPS, FedWire, CHIPS, CHATS, RITS etc.
Understanding of liquidity management principles and processes as it relates to global payment settlement systems and correspondent banking models
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage testing activities in large scale corporate projects and a strong understanding of structured quality assurance practices
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, attention to detail and organization
Education & Preferred Qualifications
3-5 years testing or project experience preferred
You can demonstrate in-depth knowledge of payment flows and the SWIFT network
