The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) contributes directly to this mission by providing comprehensive support to faculty and staff in the administration of externally sponsored research. OSP's Primary functions include Proposals, Contracts, and Awards.

Our Contracts team is searching for a Contracts Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by providing critical support by assists faculty and researchers in completing contracts with sponsors (both corporations and the government). In addition, you will handle discussions of such issues as intellectual property, confidentiality, publications and any other contractual concerns.

Core responsibilities will include:

• Providing professional level support in the areas of preparation, monitoring, tracking, and negotiation of agreements.
• Working on agreement that include subcontracts, license agreements, non-disclosure agreements, visitor agreements, data use agreements, amendments, and others as assigned.

You should demonstrate:

• Ability to review legal and contractual agreements to distill contractual terms into actionable data to follow university policies and relevant laws.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to pay attention to details and strong communication skills
• Ability to find opportunities to streamline contract-related processes, and participate I process improvement projects
