Responsible for performing administrative and support functions of the valuation process for the Real Estate Asset Managers assuring a high level of professionalism.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Track valuations from request, bid, contract, and receipt phase of the process.
Generate report detailing valuation requests from the real estate management system
Review property information within real estate management system and tax records, as needed
Assist with bid process of contracted services
Generation of OFACs on vendors
Assist with preparing contracts and change orders.
Obtain vendor insurance Certificates and W-9s
Receive valuation report from vendor and distribute to Real Estate Asset Manager
Maintain and establish valuation records in the real estate management system
Code all invoices and forward to the real estate accounting department
Scan and image documents into the real estate management system
Communicate with internal and external customers, vendors, etc., as required
Type various correspondence
Create spreadsheets
Assist in meeting monthly and annual compliance and regulatory deadlines
Assist with generation and audit of monthly and annual reports to ensure accuracy
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
2+ years of professional experience; Valuation, Property Management or Commercial Real Estate preferred or any similar combination of education or experience
Basic knowledge of valuation process
Basic knowledge and understanding of leases
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to multi task and problem solve
Strong interpersonal and organization skills
Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
Ability to give and take direction and to interface with decision makers in a professional manner and maintain confidential information
Excellent attendance and punctuality
Physical Requirements
Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
