The incumbent will be responsible for creating and maintaining enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using electronic health data for Population Health initiatives. The incumbent will work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and will collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health. The incumbent will use UCI Health software such as MS PowerBI, Tableau, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, and the enterprise data warehouse to deliver high quality reports and analytic solutions. This includes quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and general clinical/operational reporting for Population Health

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
3+ year of data analytics experience using relational databases
3+ years of experience with SQL
3+ years of experience with MS SQL server or Oracle as well as reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, etc
Ability to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs
Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
Preferred Qualifications:
Clarity Certification
Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
Previous experience with population health/managed care or value-based care programs
Previous experience analyzing performance improvement standards and value-base care program requirements.
5+ years of healthcare analytics experience
3+ years of experience working with EPIC EHR
5+ years of experience with EHR data
3+ years of experience with healthcare claims/billing
5+ years of experience with SSMS, SSRS, SSIS, Crystal Reports, Tableau/PowerBI
5+ Years of experience with healthcare quality metric reporting
Experience using Collibra or similar Data Governance platform
Experience developing and maintaining technical documentation within a centralized code repository
Experience in software development life cycle
Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms
