The Informatics Department in the Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences is a diverse and thriving community made up of 30 full-time faculty, almost 100 graduate students, dozens of lecturers, and five staff. Your Role on the Team
Under the supervision of the Director of Personnel in ICS, incumbent will support the Department of Informatics in coordinating, managing, and providing analytical and administrative support for all facets of Senate and Non-Senate Academic Personnel, including: merits, promotions, recruitment, appointments, voting, visiting employment procedures, leaves of absence and sabbaticals, and international relations. Applies professional UC Academic HR concepts, organization and / or system wide policies, and procedures to provide guidance to supervisors and managers to resolve a variety of academic human resources issues of moderate scope and complexity
$30.56 - $36.28 (hourly) is expected pay range within the full salary range of $30.56 - $53.45 (hourly)
Hybrid position - working on site 3 days a week, remote from home 2 days a week

The expected pay range for this recruitment is $30.56- $36.28 (Hourly).
Required:
Basic knowledge of and ability to apply / interpret organization and college policies and procedures which govern academic HR.
Knowledge of human resources management systems and other related business software programs and systems.
Analytical skills to conduct analysis and develop recommendations to Chairs / unit management.
Demonstrated organization, problem solving, and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Preferred:
Knowledge of organization, college and departmental formal and informal policies and procedures and understanding of variances to stated policies.
Knowledge of unit academic culture and educational goals of discipline(s) served.
