The Director of Development supports The Gilmore’s mission and vision through strategic fundraising activities and donor relations. This position is a member of the management team and reports to the Executive and Artistic Director. Annually, the director will establish with the Executive and Artistic Director a development plan to identify annual strategic priorities, goals, and action steps. Specific areas of responsibility are: major gifts cultivation and solicitation; corporate sponsor cultivation and solicitation; relationships with foundations; oversight of grants preparation; annual campaigns; special events; planned giving; and management of donor recognition, gift acknowledgment, benefit fulfillment and record keeping.
