BioMed Realty is looking for an experienced Senior Risk Analyst who has deep knowledge in wide variety of insurance. The role of a Senior Risk Analyst at BioMed Realty is multifaceted, requiring expertise not only in insurance but also in safety and loss prevention.
This position offers a hybrid work model, which includes 4 days in office and 1 day remotely. Hybrid work may be modified based on the needs of the company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide support in all aspects of insurance procurement, renewal, and claims process for company-wide property, casualty, automobile liability, and other related insurance programs
Manage data collection across the organization and perform analysis of risk exposures while supporting management with developing risk management solutions
Responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data in an accurate and meaningful manner including identification of trends and areas for improvement
Work closely internal and external stakeholders to provide and/or gather information
Manage data in department’s RMIS system including review and follow-up of workflows, data validation
Tracking and management of financial performance of the programs
Assist with identifying contractual risk transfer opportunities and defining insurance requirements in contracts
Review insurance and claims related billings for approvals and processing
Overall support of the company’s risk transfer program
Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications:
A Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Knowledge and understanding of insurance and claims handling processes and procedures
Ability to assess the terms and conditions of insurance policies and contract terms
Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient on Microsoft Office using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to organize and establish priorities
Ability to investigate and analyze information and to draw conclusions
Ability to evaluate data for current trends and apply trends to loss prevention
Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of people
Ability to be self-motivated
