Job DescriptionUnder general supervision, coordinates with patient care services the planning, design, development, implementation, functionality and evaluation of integrated clinical information systems that support and enhance clinical practice, administrative and management needs and patient outcomes. Acts as a resource with clinical knowledge and/or computer expertise to coordinate and provide support for all new and current applications and software upgrades applicable to the clinical systems. Assists in the analysis, design, testing and implementation of clinical information systems and solutions. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Conducts assessments of the clinical environment and identifies implications for system implementation
