Summary
The Facilities Planning & Management department at Iowa State University is seeking candidates for a Construction Project Manager II to provide project and construction management services for small capital renewal and building repair projects for campus facilities.
Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) is an organization that is dedicated to the maintenance and enhancement of Iowa State University, one of the nations leading educational and agricultural institutes. FP&M is one of the largest departments on campus and currently employs over 450 full-time employees and students combined.
Example of Duties
Plans and coordinates design and construction of multiple concurrent small construction and repair projects using outside contractors, in-house facilities staff, product vendors and others. Acts as primary liaison with campus customers to ensure projects needs are met. Prioritizes activities and resources to keep projects on schedule. Oversees project budgets. Participates in developing project cost and budget reports. Works with designers to evaluate products and design standards for building repair-type projects.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an on-going basis without sponsorship.
