About The College
Our Resident Education and Development team is responsible for providing leadership in the development of a positive community within the residence communities. Our goal is to be a partner in students' educational journey through an intentional, educational and vibrant residential experience!
Job Overview
Responsible for the day-to-day operations within Resident Education & Development (RED).
Essential Functions
? Serve as a direct liaison with Housing and Food Services, Facilities Management, Housekeeping, and other campus partners.
? Provide support and direction of the day-to-day residence life hall staff, and operations.
? Support the development of policies, protocols, and trainings for all professional staff, student employees, and student leaders within RED.
? Monitor, approve, and audit funds and expenditures for the area.
? Provide advising and leadership towards departmental residential curriculum and living-learning communities.
? Facilitate awareness and provides leadership towards educating staff and students in the areas of inclusion and belonging.
? Serve in after-hours emergency contact rotation with members of the RED Leadership Team.
? Actively participates in the residential life strategic planning process.
? Advise departmental task force/work groups as directed by leadership.
? May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).
? Perform related duties based on departmental need.
Required Education
Master?s Degree must be in College Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration or related field.
Required Experience
Five (5) years of experience in Student Personnel, Counseling, higher education or residence hall administration or a related field.
Previous supervisory experience.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Master?s degree.
Seven to Nine (7-9) years of experience in Student Personnel, Counseling, higher education or residence hall administration or a related field.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.

Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $78,000 dependent on the candidate's experience.
