What you be doing in this role:
The Manager, Revenue Cycle Training & Development is responsible for the training content development, implementation, and evaluation of revenue cycle training programs for use throughout the health system revenue cycle. The role partners with revenue cycle leaders, collaborators, and other dependent of contributing departments in developing training programs and activities by directly managing trainers and by coordinating revenue cycle training needs in the organization. Responsibilities include project planning and execution, organizational development, instructional design, curriculum development, instructor-led training, and web-based training. Develops training strategy, implementation and support to ensure accurate and timely training is provided. The Manager assumes fiscal responsibility through providing support of unit budgets, serves as a liaison with health system leadership and other personnel, promotes maximum growth and development of each employee and participates in strategic planning, both long and short-term. Primary responsibilities include:
Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of revenue cycle training programs for use throughout the revenue cycle health system. Partners with managers, supervisors and trainers to ensure training programs and procedures are followed constantly.
Effectively collaborates and communicates with a variety of individuals, both internal and external, including multidisciplinary teams.
Manages all training project plans and effectively communicates status to project team and business leaders.
Liaises with revenue cycle leadership teams to provide consistent, standardized revenue cycle training experiences across the health system.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business administration, education, finance, economics, or a related major required.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience in healthcare revenue cycle as a trainer, corporate training lead/manager or related position required.
A minimum of 5 years of Epic Revenue Cycle application experience preferred.
A minimum of 2 years Project and Change Management experience preferred.
