About the role: The HR Systems Analyst acts as a technical resource for HR Systems (from Recruitment through Payroll) ensuring performance and reliability. This role involves troubleshooting user issues, escalating as appropriate, and working with functional experts to define user requirements and identify opportunities for system or process enhancements. The analyst consults users on technology changes impacting work processes and continuously recommends new methods to gain efficiencies within Human Resources. The HR Systems Analyst reports to the Director of HR Operations.
This position is in Stephenville, Texas with work hours of Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Position may require work responsibilities outside of normal business hours. Work hours may vary during peak season. No visa sponsorship is available for this role. Must have the ability to work remotely at the request of the university in times of inclement weather or other special circumstances.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with Texas A&M System Shared Services, monitor daily HR System activities including business process functionality, data validation, reporting, and new releases.
Support peers in Human Resources and end users across the University.
Create reports within  HRIS, data warehouses and other data management systems by understanding and triaging business needs internal/external to HR.
Ensure meaningful and actionable report output, validate and test report structures to ensure information security, and schedule report delivery for efficiency.
Document report specifications and usage, and develop dashboards to capture organizational performance for management.
Identify opportunities to optimize implemented HR Systems by understanding HR business requirements.
Apply system new release knowledge to current system configurations.
Complete visual data flow tools, process mapping, and present recommendations to HR Management.
Train HR Team members (current and new hires) on HR system usage and assist in developing training materials for end users.
Document procedures for system users.
Prepares  ad-hoc reports and query analyses in desired formats
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelorâ™s degree in Human Resources, Business, Management Information Systems, or equivalent
4 years of technical system experience with a focus on system performance and reporting.
Expertise in Workday, including the newest technology and product offerings.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Proficiency in Workday, including the latest technology and product offerings, with a strong focus on system performance, data integrity, and complex reporting.
Ability to create meaningful and actionable reports, validate and test report structures, and develop dashboards to capture organizational performance.
Skilled in troubleshooting user issues, identifying opportunities for system or process enhancements, and applying new release knowledge to current system configurations.
Excellent customer service, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to train team members and document procedures effectively.
Capability to work independently, proactively inquire, and manage daily HR System activities, including business process functionality, data validation, and integrations.

Commensurate with experience
Salary Range
The target base annual salary range is $53,496.80 to $70,987.50 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
