The Business Operations Analyst works to solve problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Contacts are both internal and external to the department. The Business Operations Analyst provides standard reporting to the Perioperative Division for application in decision making of operations management, strategic planning, quality improvement, and process improvement initiatives. In addition, the Business Operations Analyst provides consultation services to Perioperative Division leaders to define adhoc data analysis needs and design reports as defined by leadership. The Business Operations Analyst creates and presents data in a meaningful and succinct fashion to Perioperative Leadership.

Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
Bachelor's degree in related healthcare, informatics, or management field
Three (3) years of experience working as an operational analyst, financial analyst, or project manager with shown application of data analysis in any field
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Proficient in Process Mapping Techniques and applications of Lean Six Sigma tools
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Project Management skills, demonstrating comprehensive portfolio of successfully completed initiatives
Demonstrates analytical and critical thinking skills
Flexibility to meet organizational goals and adapting to changing needs
Ability to meet internal and external customer needs
Ability to lead others through uncertainty
Ability to perform tasks independently and prioritize workload
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, while striving for and motivating teams towards excellence
Preferred Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
Project Management Professional
Master's degree in related healthcare, information, or management field
Five (5) years of experience working as an analyst, project manager, or operations role in Perioperative Services or similar healthcare setting
Ability to mentor and coach Lean Six Sigma Methodologies

Perioperative Services is a large division comprised of departments including the Operating Rooms, Pre-Op and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Departments, Pre-Anesthesia Clinic, Anesthesia, Sterile Processing Department, GI Lab and Interventional Pulmonary Procedural Department.

Work Environment
