Job DescriptionThe Sourcing Analyst is assigned to lower spend/lower complexity commodity products and/or services (e.g. approximately 10 categories) and works closely with Commodity Managers who are responsible for sourcing and negotiating contracts. The Sourcing Analyst manages projects under the direction of a Commodity Manager and assists with sourcing projects. This position manages key components of public bidding events, and assists post-negotiation, assures critical steps are taken for contract implementation. Sourcing Analyst may assist with contract renewals and extensions, and renegotiate delivery, discounts, payment terms and/or freight terms on existing contracts.
