Position Summary:
The Workflow Analyst will be responsible for supporting our digital transformation efforts facilitating the configuration and deployment of new workflow/automated solutions. The incumbent will work closely with academic and administrative units to coordinate and empower business areas with their workflow projects ensuring processes are streamlined, and areas are successful in meeting their workflow goals.
Configure and assist with the development of web forms and workflow solutions to transform and improve business processes.
Account management of Enterprise Process applications
Design and development of dashboards to provide insight into the value of solutions focusing on continuous improvement.
The position works closely with the Integration Team to develop solutions that streamline operations and provide an enhanced experience for our constituents. The team consists of three full-time resources, and the position reports to the Enterprise Process and Content Services Manager.
Essential Functions:
Imaging and Workflow ● Participates with management and Business Units to determine current and future content management needs, both imaging and workflow automation. ● Designs, integrates, and configures image processing and workflows across various systems. ● Participates in the design and implementation of new software solutions. ● Maintains and enhances existing software. ● Participates in the development of documentation and training materials. ● Participates in evaluation of productivity software. ● Helps build and maintain a cohesive team. ● Designs, and implements specific imaging and workflow processes based on departmental requirements/document analysis. ● Performs process and performance analysis to optimize imaging and workflow solutions. ● Designs forms and develops applications to integrate and streamline imaging and workflow processes between various applications and system platforms. ● Develops technical specifications to complement the functional specifications provided by business analysts/business partners, including designing flow charts. ● Participates in evaluation of the most appropriate software solutions related to imaging and workflow. ● Participates in the development of acceptable test plans. ● Codes, debugs, and tests new software, as well as changes and enhancements to existing applications. ● Supports and triages technical issues with imaging and workflow applications.
General Analyst functions ● Serves as consultant to management and business groups to assess needs, develop and implement solutions ● Contributes to the development of vision and direction for technical initiatives and plans, forecasting needs and maintaining currency with trends in own area of responsibility or specialization ● Challenges and enhances analytical approaches or tools ● Applies fact-based analysis to achieve business strategy ● Reviews and validates analysis and develops recommendations in the context of functional area or full project ● Facilitates constructive communication across the team ● Communicates engagement status, progress, and impact to management ● Demonstrates knowledge of client's business model and decision-making framework and identifies areas of improvement ● Provides recommendations to client and staff for technical designs and analyses
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor's Degree or Minimum 3 years' experience with content management platforms/workflow applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Higher Education experience ● Knowledge of HTML/CSS ● Strong analytical and technical skills, such as process flow analysis, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational technology requirements. ● Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication and presentation skills. ● Ability to lead and work in a team environment. ● Strong skills in the performance and supervision of the following are required:
