Act as a key technical liaison to our constituents including Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT), Harvard College, and the Griffin Graduate School of Arts and Science (GSAS); guide and prioritize reinvention of existing processes across all sub-units in the FAS Registrar's Office including Academic Planning, Enrollment Services, and Information & Records Management
In collaboration with the Registrar leadership team, contribute to the unit's overall technical strategic plan; propose robust solutions to FAS complex business needs; provide data reporting and data analysis, and act as primary liaison with HUIT regarding security roles and access to student information systems; provide technical support for EMS room reservation system
Serve as primary facilitator of critical technical training for new employees and advise Business Systems Analysts (BSA) in the Registrar's Office on data governance best practices across teams
Conduct collaborative Business Systems Analyst peer group meetings and mentorship opportunities
Act as dedicated Business Systems Analyst for Academic Planning unit needs regarding reporting, process reinvention, technical training
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of five years? post-secondary education or relevant work experience
Additional Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software and equipment
Highly specialized knowledge of a specific technology
Demonstrated team performance skills, service mindset approach, and the ability to act as a trusted advisor
Certificates and Licenses
Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent) preferred
