Key Roles
The CMMS Analyst is a key liaison between production business staff, IT, and business units that interface with Production. Responsible for identifying and refining detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, formulating and defining system scope and objectives. Evaluates processes and makes recommendations for system or process changes, system modifications, and software and hardware requirements to ensure business processes and supporting systems meet Production business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Provides functional CMMS expertise and assists with technical research for Maximo and other applications fleet-wide.
Partners with functional, analytical and technical teams to ensure successful implementation of software maintenance, upgrades and new implementations fleet-wide.
Interprets functional requirements and translates them into technical specifications and process flows.
Responds to daily CMMS software issues for functional area, including user entry and processing problems, involving IT as necessary.
Troubleshoots software issues and partners with developers for problem resolution.
Drives/participates in implementation of new processes, interfaces, and enhancements to the current system.
Partners with Production and other business in preparing test scripts to ensure testing encompasses all areas affected. Reviews testing results with business partner and assists with problem solving.
Represents Production in the unit/integration testing process, along with business users and developers, to ensure overall functionality, technical quality of deliverables and that Production’s technical and functional business needs are met.
Partners with stakeholders/subject matter experts to evaluate business improvements and opportunities.
Identifies and analyzes issues with system and/or business processes, identifies and recommends solutions. Translates the business needs to a functional specification that is used for internal or external development.
Serves as analyst for projects throughout application lifecycle and completes associated tasks including but not limited to, understanding project objectives, gathering requirements, ensuring requirements are addressed in designs, and development.
Creates, updates and reviews functional and project related documents, user reference guides, testing and training materials.
Leads the review of software release notes to determine if new/added functionality can be utilized and to maintain knowledge of current technology.
Participates in CMMS and related systems and technology software upgrades and enhancements.
Manages tactical aspects of discovering, validating, documenting and communicating business-process knowledge and modeling, simulating and analyzing current and future states.
Builds complex queries and trains other users.
May be required to perform Coordinator duties in cases of resource disruption.

Key Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
Experience:
Five (5) years of Maximo and CMMS Administrator related experience.
Experience with large software implementations – interfaced and integrated systems.
Skills and Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems in relation to their function and use specifically Maximo, and other platforms as necessary.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced environment.
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Requires thorough knowledge of business analysis function
Experience with Maximo Workflow, Query writing.
Experience writing functional and technical specifications. Must be able to interpret SQL Statements and understand software logic.
Primavera P6 Experience and knowledge, both conceptual and functional preferred.
Plant Scheduling Application – custom application developed as a “bolt-on.”
Thorough understanding of the function and importance of a CMMS as it relates to reliability, safety, environmental and NERC/SERC Compliance.

Usual office conditions apply to this position with occasional lifting up to twenty (20) pounds.
Will need to be willing and able to travel to the plants and may shadow technicians, supervision, and management. Could be required for extended periods of time.
Must maintain valid driver’s license.
Must wear personal protective equipment as appropriate.
