Job Summary
Identifies knowledge and skills gap to shape designs of multi-platform content using best practices in adult learning theory and instructional design.
Provides in-depth consultation in the areas of needs assessment, curriculum design for complex training goals, and program evaluation.
Builds relationships with stakeholders, HR business partners, and other leaders to ensure training and development needs are met.
Delivers quality training programs through various platforms.
Assesses overall impact and effectiveness of training and learning programs.

EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development or related field.
Preferred
Master's degree in Organizational Development or related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
5 years of experience managing large scale and complex learning projects and programs, including needs assessment, design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
Training methods to include mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, classroom, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.
SKILLS
Required
Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
Develops and delivers effective presentations.
Effective negotiation skills.
Ability to influence internal and/or external constituents.
Demonstrated project management skills.
Prior management experience.
Mastery of developing innovative materials including job aids, facilitator and participant guides, and tutorials.
Strong coaching and facilitation.

Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency skills.
Ability to work in an environment that values collaboration, teamwork, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

This position is eligible for remote work, subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
Advertised Salary
$74,000 - $84,000 per year based on experience.
