What will I be doing in this role?
The Associate Director, Development will:
Support implementing strategies and objectives to drive philanthropy and achieve short-term and long-term goals for various programs including a focus on Foundations, along with activities in support of the priorities of the department and Cedars-Sinai.
Monitor implemented strategies for successes, identifies opportunities, challenges, reports on and make recommendations.
Plan and track relationships with prospects; maintains a well-designed and documented prospect portfolio.
Oversee assigned programs in scope and may also provide leadership, guidance and supervision to professional and support staff towards the accomplishment of fundraising goals.
As an effective player coach, maintain high volume of significant donor relationships, meaningful contact and solicitation.
Work with a defined portfolio of donors, prospects, and selected leaders and/or faculty to advance the mission of the organization.

Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related major required.
A minimum of (8) eight years experience with fundraising or relevant experience in a large complex organization and/or medical healthcare facility
Demonstrated success in cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding at major gift levels. Working knowledge of deferred vehicles and community/philanthropic resources.
A minimum of two years experience with managing department / service line(s) with a team of direct reports.
