CFC has a need for a Senior Operations Analyst - Help Desk in the RMG - Business Technology Services group. In this position you will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of all primary system hardware and software applications. Additionally, this position will actively provide daily IT technical support to efficiently trouble-shoot issues on a timely basis.
As a Senior Operations Analyst - Help Desk, you will:
• Identify, analyze and trouble-shoot issues with server hardware and applications software, including Windows virtual and physical desktop infrastructure, and provide solutions and support to ensure issues are resolved. • Gather business and end-user requirements and install, configure and maintain, including recognizing and troubleshooting problems, of the Windows Server and Desktop operating system. • Analyze and evaluate personal computing products, devices and systems available in the marketplace to determine most appropriate business and end-user options and maintain inventory. • Responsible for contributing to team procedure inventory and improving process efficiency while ensuring compliance with overall information systems goals and procedures. • Participate as a senior team member on the IT Help Desk, regularly engaging with all levels of the organization, including senior level executives and developing junior team members. • Provide support for IT projects and initiatives.
To be successful, you will need:
Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent work experience required. • 4 years of experience in an information systems administration or IT help desk role required. • Ability to perform independent troubleshooting of daily IT operational problems effectively. • In-depth knowledge of desktop and laptop architecture. • In-depth knowledge and ability to support and maintain Horizon Virtual desktops and Infrastructure(Master image, AppVolumes, User Environment Manager, desktop pools, and Security/Connection servers) • In-depth knowledge of MS Products to support VDI such as Windows 10, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, ADFS, AzureAD, GPO Policies, etc. • VMWare Horizon 7.x, App Volumes, UEM, NonPersistant desktops, and Workspace One. • Ability to write Microsoft Powershell scripts to support desktop builds and management of the Desktop builds and Horizon Infrastructure. • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Servers, VmWare Vcenter and ESX. • Knowledge of information security principles and technologies. • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. • After-hours on-call support rotation required.
