ANSIRH seeks a Data Analyst with strong quantitative data analysis skills to manage and analyze data from several research projects. One of these projects is the California Home Abortion by Telehealth (CHAT) study, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Ushma Upadhyay. The other project is the Drug and Alcohol Pregnancy Policies (D-APPS) study, led by Dr. Sarah Roberts. The Data Analyst will support data analysis on CHAT, D-APPS, and other studies as opportunities arise. The incumbent will develop and support analysis plans, manage, clean and analyze project data, develop tables for manuscripts, draft methods and research results for manuscripts, participate in the dissemination of research findings via manuscripts and presentations, be co-author on manuscripts they contribute to, and provide other research/project support as needed. The Data Analyst will work within a multidisciplinary team at ANSIRH and will contribute to other research projects as needed.
Position requirements include experience with research design, implementation, and analysis. This position requires advanced level data analysis skills, with a preference for experience analyzing large administrative data such as health insurance claims data. An enthusiasm for juggling multiple priorities and working across multiple teams will be considered. Comfort working in an environment in which abortion is discussed frequently is essential.
Please note: This is a one year contract position, anticipated to end one year after hire. There is a hybrid remote schedule, with work from home and on-site work in Oakland, CA.
