SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Through departmental established duties and responsibilities, perform high-quality computed tomography exams and procedures for use by physicians and radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Plans and performs all CT procedures and post-processing using advanced technology based on clinical criteria, anatomy, and established protocols.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
- Must be registered or registry eligible by one of the following accrediting bodies: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography Program or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Program (NMTCB)
- Graduate of radiography program
- Must pass the radiography ARRT registry within three (3) months of employment
- Must pass the CT ARRT registry within 18 months of employment OR pass NMTCB registry within three (3) months of employment
- BLS required prior to orientation completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- CT experience preferred.
