Responsibilities
The Revenue Cycle Management Analyst III is responsible for analyzing, researching and resolving issues related to escalated patient disputes including legal, social media, regulatory agencies and Better Business Bureau,. Works with the vendors and RCM to resolve complaints and reports trends as needed.
Works all levels of complaints including Better Business Bureau, state complaints and highly sensitive complaints as priority
Makes necessary corrections ensures the accounts are fully resolved
Within established Standard Operating Procedures, clearly and completely document all relevant information in the patient accounting system consistent with permanent legal records.
Interacts and communicates with RCM management to resolve outstanding issues. Coordinates with the proper departments to correct issues address in complaints.
Notifies the Collections Management Team of any unusual or large volume payer trends / denials.
Works with vendors to coach regarding issues found when working complaints.
Works Escalations within vendor portals.
Handles Improper Disclosure reports with Compliance.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
College degree preferred.
5 years Revenue Cycle Management experience required.
Skills/Experience:
Strong verbal and written commuuciation skills.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and vendors.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business documents, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
Software:
Basic Microsoft Office experience.
