WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As an Actuarial Analyst at Federated Rural Electric Insurance Exchange, you will play a critical role in providing actuarial support while developing a deep understanding of both actuarial principles and our company systems. Your responsibilities will encompass assisting with the internal reserving process, where you'll analyze loss reserves and project IBNR reserves using various actuarial techniques. Additionally, you'll be involved in the actuarial processes related to rate filings for various lines of business, including our All-Risk Blanket (ARB) and Workers' Compensation (WC) policies. This will involve annually reviewing rating programs to ensure that rates across all states are actuarially sound and preparing necessary rate filings.

WHAT ARE THE HOURS FOR AN ACTUARIAL ANALYST?
This is a full-time position in an office setting with standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. However, we also offer modified work schedules to fit the needs of our team.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

A foundational requirement is passing 1-3 actuarial exams, indicating your commitment to the profession. You should possess proficiency in Excel and Word, with the ability to create and maintain intricate spreadsheets while demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
