We are looking for an experienced post-acute Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our Columbia, MO facility. The leader is responsible for regulatory compliance, patient and employee satisfaction, as well as the operations & financial success of the organization. The CEO will drive the full market potential for this vibrant, 39-bed Long Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH). While you will be stepping into a smoothly operating facility, the selected CEO will be in a position to take the facility from good to GREAT! This is an opportunity that allows a hands-on CEO to get involved with all aspects of the business. CEO essential duties include:
Provides strategy, leadership, and accountability for hospital operations according to the policies & practices of Landmark Hospitals
Manages financial performance; Supervises the business affairs of the hospital to ensure funds are collected and expended appropriately and optimized to improve financial cash flow
Ensures the facility and physical plant of the hospital are sound, safe, and sanitary, managing risk with appropriate insurance policies in place
Fosters positive relationships with referring entities and host hospital to drive admission levels and synergy across the healthcare community
Creates a team of competent employees who are engaged, positive, and focused on delivering the best patient care
Establishes and maintains key relationships & communication in the community, within the hospital, and with the corporate organization
Serves as the liaison and channel of communication between the Board of Directors and any of its committees and the Medical Staff, and assists the Medical Staff with its organization and medico-administrative problems and responsibilities.
Represents the hospital in its relationships with other healthcare agencies and with the community.

Executive presence and experience working with hospital executives at the C-Suite level (CXO, CFO, CMO, CEO, COO)
Networking, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong relationship-building, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
Master’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration, or other healthcare-related field is preferred
Clinical backgrounds are also preferred
Minimum of 5 or more years of progressive Management experience; 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)

Licensed as acute care hospital with certification from CMS to operate aa long-term acute hospitals, our team of medical professionals are well posed to care for patients with respiratory failure requiring ventilation weaning and air way management, complex wound care, severe neurological dysfunction, orthopedic traumas and multi-organ failure. Our hospitals are located in Georgia and Missouri ranging from 30 - 50 beds.
