FACILITY OPERATIONS-IUB (BL-PHYP-IUBLA)
The mission of the IU Bloomington Facility Operations is to operate and maintain a high-quality physical environment to enhance student learning, faculty teaching and research. We serve other non-academic departments, and we support the University's service to the community and citizens of Indiana.

Identifies trends in energy and utility use; compiles energy consumption and utility metering information from numerous sources and systems and populates the data into relevant systems, reports, and recommendations.
Monitors and produces monthly and annual summaries and reports of individual energy and utility use for all IU campuses.
Assists with payback analyses to justify funding projects that use the IU energy reserve fund, state- and university-funded repair and rehabilitation projects, and special capital appropriations projects.
Oversees utility chargeback invoicing to various campus entities. Generates other utility billings as appropriate.
Develops and supports centralized energy management control center to monitor system-wide energy use and trends by site.
Participates in the development of analytical tools and reporting systems to compare energy and utility use per campus and building. Assists with software program integration to further automate processes and create utility dashboards and metrics.
Develops recommendations for utility and energy management policies and operating procedures by identifying areas of concern and capturing and analyzing relevant data.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, informatics, business management, or a related field.
Some experience in utility analysis and reporting or a related field.
3 years of experience in utility analysis and reporting.
Experience in Energy Cap, E-Builder, and Tableau.
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University.

Working Conditions / Demands
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
